Personalized AALL conference scheduling with ScheduAALL

I expect that most CSSISies are doing the same thing I'm doing these days – helping stressed-out law students and dreaming of summer.  I'm looking forward to 2 conferences this summer: CALI in Boulder in June and then the Big One, AALL in Washington DC in July.

For everyone who's going to the AALL – and I hope it's everyone – you need to look at fellow CSSISie Tom Boone's genius Web 2.0 creation for the conference, ScheduAALL 2009. With this interactive, personalizable site Tom has made it easy to plan your time during the conference and keep track of all your official and unofficial plans.

Of course, the AALL has it's own official online schedule for the Innovate 2009 conference, and props to them for major improvements over previous years. Tom's site uses the AALL schedule and builds on it. You create an account and then you can make your own personal AALL schedule and – this is great – share it with your friends. When you're ready, Tom's made it easy to print up your program.

The site also has links to the 2009 AALL Annual Meeting, the Capital Crier Blog (official blog of the conference), the excellent Local Arrangements Committee site, and the Unofficial Conference Wiki. The Local Arrangers already have an online sign-up sheet prepared for the Dine-Around on Saturday July 25.

So kudos to Tom for creating ScheduAALL and sharing it with all of us, and I hope to see y'all there!
